Aboriginal Dot Painting
Students will use wet media to apply skills and interactions of the elements of art and principles of design. Students will continue to perceive, identify, and create two and three-dimensional art work using knowledge and skills learned based on our environment, our daily lives and from different cultures. Students will expand knowledge of art styles with greater emphasis on themes (nature, myths, human needs, activities and accomplishments of individual artists). Weekly sketchbook/journal assignments will accompany daily lessons. Continued study of safe and responsible use of art materials and storage of tools is expected.
