Hello, my name is Eric Averbeck, and this is my fifth year at Kasson-Mantorville High School and 14th overall.  I will be teaching the Intermediate Algebra and Enriched Intermediate Algebra courses.

I grew up on a small family dairy farm near Alma, Wisconsin, and graduated from Alma High School.  After high school, I attended Winona State University, where I earned my Secondary Education: Mathematics degree.  I taught and long-term subbed in Lake City, Pine Island, and Dover-Eyota my first few years of teaching.  I also taught the previous seven years at Rochester Lourdes High School.

My main hobbies include playing softball, bowling, shooting pool, and I'm an officer for the Zumbro Area Eagles Club in Rochester. I am also a collector of Allis-Chalmers and Oliver toys and memorabilia.   My wife, Elizabeth, is a Social Studies teacher here at K-M.  We do not have any children of our own, but we have a dog, Ike.  Ike is a White German Shepard Husky mix.

As always, please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns.

I look forward to another great year here at K-M!
