K-M Drama Department presents "Girls of the Garden Club", April 28-May 1The Girls of the Garden Club by John Patrick is a comedic tour de force that tells the story of Rhoda Greenleaf, who lives to garden and wants to expand her plant collection by adding a greenhouse behind her home. But when her husband, Vincent, refuses to pay for one, Rhoda points out that "even the White House has a greenhouse!" So Vincent tells her that if she is ever elected president, she can have a greenhouse, too.  BUT ... he didn't say president of WHAT! Rhoda therefore decides to seek the presidency of the Upper South Ho-Ho-Kus Little Lake Garden Club. With the help of several sister garden club members, she plots to oust the incumbent president, Lillybelle. But as the date of the annual flower show and competition arrives, fate throws a few curves -- and the twists and turns that follow will leave the audience rolling with laughter!

Featuring the acting and stage crew talents of 30 high school students and  the volunteer help of many parents and community members, The Girls of the Garden Club is a perfect way to kick off your spring with laughter!  Tickets and more information available at https://www.kmdramaboosterclub.org.
